Prêmio seleciona melhores pubs e bares da Irlanda

O prêmio Bar of The Year Awards seleciona os melhores pubs e bares da Irlanda em diferentes temas. Com mais de 25 categorias, os vencedores foram escolhidos por um painel de jurados especialmente selecionados e pelo voto popular. A revelação da edição 2019 aconteceu em uma cerimônia de gala no Clayton Hotel, na Burlington Road, em Dublin.

O principal vencedor foi o bar Cask, que fica em Cork. Ele foi nomeado como o Bar of The Year (Bar do Ano). Aberto em fevereiro de 2017, na MacCurtain Street, na cidade de Cork, o local é popular devido ao seu menu de cocktails originais e inovadores. O premiado consultor de coquetéis Andy Ferreira ajudou a moldar o cardápio, e seus coquetéis são baseados em ingredientes que crescem na Irlanda.

Outros prêmios foram entregues como o The Old Orchard, em Dublin, que ganhou como The Local Bar of the Year. Já o Trad Bar of the Year foi para o Lowry’s, em Galway. Veja a lista completa de ganhadores abaixo

• Live Entertainment Bar of the Year – The Workmans Club, Dublin
• Late Bar/Nightclub of the Year – Opium Club, Dublin
• Best Bar to Watch the Match – Buskers On The Ball, Dublin
• Cocktail Bar of the Year – Cask, Cork
• Craft Bar of the Year – Impala, Cork
• Gin Bar of the Year – Russell’s Saloon, Louth
• Whiskey Bar of the Year – The Shelbourne Bar, Cork
• Best Newcomer – J.M. Reidy’s, Kerry
